This tutorial explains how administrators can manually import publications into Research Logix using a CSV file. By following these steps, users can ensure that publication data is accurately mapped and integrated into the system.

 

Key Steps

  1. Access the CSV Import Tool

    • Navigate to the Publication Workspace.

    • Select Import Pub CSV.

  2. Prepare the CSV File

    • Ensure the file includes the PubMed ID (PMID) and relevant author information.

    • Verify that data is correctly formatted to align with Research Logix's requirements.

  3. Upload the CSV File

    • Click Choose File and select your prepared CSV file.

    • The system will read the file but will not import it immediately.

  4. Map CSV Columns to Research Logix Fields

    • Use the mapping utility to align CSV columns with the corresponding Research Logix fields.

    • Ensure all required fields are correctly mapped.

  5. Import the File

    • Click Import File to process the data.

    • Research Logix will assign the column data to the appropriate fields.

  6. Review Imported Publications

    • After importing, a confirmation message will be displayed.

    • Newly imported publications will be available in Unreviewed Pubs for further processing.
