To provide a clear and concise step-by-step guide for team members to effectively manage and review publication records within the ResearchLogix platform, ensuring accurate data handling and minimizing errors.

Key Steps

  1. Access Publication Records

    • Navigate to the ResearchLogix platform.

    • Select the publication you wish to view from the unreviewed pubs, reviewed pubs, or custom views.

    • Click on the "Information" action next to the selected publication.

  2. Review Information Panel

    • Examine the information panel for details such as:

      • Title and authors

      • Journal name

      • Important dates related to the publication

    • Access the full abstract of the publication from PubMed.

  3. Check Assignments Tab

    • Click on the "Assignments" tab to view:

      • Affiliations

      • Affiliated grants

      • Publication type

    • Note the linked authors and click on their names to view their ResearchLogix profiles.

  4. Validate Author Engagement

    • Determine if the publication has been viewed and validated by a specific author.

  5. Manage Custom Properties

    • Access the "Custom Properties" section to manage publication properties (excluding CCSG assignments).

  6. Review CCSG Tab

    • Click on the "CCSG" tab to see how the publication will appear in reports.

    • Check indicators for:

      • Cancer relevance

      • Peer review status

      • External collaborations

  7. Omission from Program

    • Use the "Omit from Program" feature to exclude specific publications from a research program if necessary.

  8. Specify Shared Resources

    • As an administrator, designate a specific shared resource for the publication.

  9. Utilize iSight Utility

    • Access the iSight utility to view important information derived from the iSight platform.

  10. Add Notes

    • Use the "Notes" section to document any specific remarks or observations about the publication.

  11. Actions Panel

    • If needed, use the "Actions" panel to delete the publication.

    • Click "View in PubMed" to open the publication in a new tab for further review.

  12. Refresh Publication Data
