So you're ready to start collecting information from your participating faculty? Within Research Logix's Grant Prep Workspace, we've worked with Training Grant leadership to identify common questions that can be asked of participating faculty to put together the information needed for a grant. As the technology continues to evolve and more groups become involved, we will continue to update according to the needs of administrators.
The Default Questionnaire
For now the following questions are asked of each participating member by default. The questionnaire is split into 6 distinct short sections:
- Mentor Information
- Training Program(s)
- Pre-Doctoral Trainees
- Post-Doctoral Trainees
- Historical Trainees in Lab
- AdHoc/Custom Questions
Mentor Information
This is basic mentor information that will populate the generated Data Tables.
Training Program(s)
This allows the faculty participant to list training program(s) they are presently affiliated with.
Pre-Doctoral Trainees
This allows participants to list Pre-Doctoral Trainee counts. We DO NOT presently collect personal identifiers of trainees - just the aggregated counts. This information is used for the generation of Data Tables 1 and 2.
Post-Doctoral Trainees
This allows participants to list Post-Doctoral Trainee counts. We DO NOT presently collect personal identifiers of trainees - just the aggregated counts. This information is used for the generation of Data Tables 1 and 2.
Historical Trainees in Lab (Past 10 Years)
This section allows a faculty participant to list the aggregated amounts of Pre/Post Doctoral Trainees who have worked within their lab(s).
AdHoc/Custom Questions
This section is optional, and may not be included in every Training Grant Prep Workspace. There may be questions that need to be asked that are relevant to a department/divisional purpose. These questions will be affiliated to a specific Training Grant Prep Workspace. Questions are able to be customized by designated account administrators.
