Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to create and manage networks in Research Logix, enabling team members to group individuals with shared research interests effectively.
Key Steps
1. Accessing the Networks Tab 0:16
- Navigate to the Projects Profiles page.
- Click on the Networks tab to view existing networks and the option to create new ones.
2. Creating a New Network 0:28
- Click the Create New Network button.
- Enter a name for your network (e.g., Test).
- Optionally, add a short description about the group's purpose or focus area.
3. Finalizing Network Creation 0:43
- Click the Create Network button to finalize the creation.
- You will be redirected to the Summary page displaying the network's name, description, and an Edit Network Information button.
4. Adding Members to the Network 1:00
- Click the Members tab.
- Use the search bar to find members from the Member and Student Repositories.
- Click Add Member to include them in the network.
5. Viewing Publication Data 1:12
- Select the Publications tab to view publication data for your network.
- Filter results by date range, format, and relevance (e.g., NIH format).
- Refresh or download the results as needed.
6. Accessing Funding Records 1:30
- Click on the Funding tab to view and filter all funding records.
- Review records related to project titles, agencies, grant numbers, award types, dates, and cost details.
7. Customizing Views 2:01
- Go to the Custom Views tab to design a personalized list view for your network.
- Manage columns, apply filters, and export data to CSV as needed.

- Understand that creating and managing a network in ResearchLogix allows for effective grouping of members, tracking of funding, and custom views all in one place.
