Importing Funding for Trainees

Objective:

To import funding for a trainee directly from NIH Reporter into the system.

Key Steps:

1. Navigate to Tools and Administration.
2. Select Import Funding.
3. Search for funding by the trainee's full name or NIH Profile ID.
4. Use the NIH Profile ID option for faster search results.
5. Preview the funding information pulled from NIH Reporter.
6. Select the desired projects to import.
7. Click on Import Funding to confirm.
8. Verify the imported funding under the Funding section.
9. Review and edit the information if necessary.

Cautionary Notes:

• Ensure the correct NIH Profile ID is used for accurate results.
• Double-check the imported funding details for accuracy.
• Make sure to have the necessary permissions to access and import funding information.
