Administrator Creating a User with API Access
Objective
This tutorial explains how to add an administrator and grant them access to the API in Research Logix. By following these steps, administrators can integrate Research Logix data with internal or external programs efficiently and securely.
Key Steps

Access the Administrative Users Section

From the Dashboard Home Screen, navigate to Administrative Users.

Create a New Administrator Account

Click Add Administrator.

Enter the administrator’s email address to associate with the record.

Click Create Administrator to finalize the account creation.

Assign API Access Permissions

Once the profile is created, you will be directed to the Permissions Screen.

Locate the newly created user in the left-hand corner of the screen.

Click API Keys to grant them access to the API section.

If needed, assign additional permissions for other sections.

Save Changes and Confirm Access

Click Save to apply the permission updates.

The new administrator will now be granted access to the Research Logix Dashboard upon signing in.

If they attempt to access restricted sections, they will see a Restricted Page message.
