Key Steps

  1. Select Publications

    • Navigate to the publication database.

    • Select all relevant publications that need leadership review.

  2. Request Leadership Input

    • Click on the "Request Leader Input" option.

    • This action will flag each selected publication and mark them as needing input from individual leaders.

  3. Access Leadership Review Queue

    • Navigate to the "Q2 pubs" section.

    • Select "Leadership Review" to view all publications currently flagged for leadership review.

  4. Review Publication Queues

    • The publication queues will be organized by individual research programs.

    • Identify the individuals who will receive the email solicitation for review.

  5. Dashboard for Leaders

    • Each leader will have access to a dashboard displaying the flagged publications.

    • They can review publication information and affiliations relevant for reporting purposes.

  6. Validate Custom Properties

    • Leaders will validate the properties set for cancer relevance and external collaboration.

    • Ensure that these properties are accurate and reflect the current status.

  7. Monitor Flagged Publications

    • Click on "Flagged Publications" to see a list of all publications currently flagged for leadership review.

    • Review the status, requester, date of request, and the number of days since the solicitation was sent.
