On-Demand PubMed Update

Once a publication has been imported into Research Logix, it will be indexed and regularly updated with up-to-date information from PubMed. A publication's information could change periodically such as PMCID status, changes to dates, affiliations, grants, abstract, etc. 

Research Logix has an automatic process that runs four (4) time, daily, that will update all publications within the system with information from PubMed. 

If you would like to force a refresh of data from PubMed for your account's publications, you can do so by using the 

1. From the Publication Workspace, click OnDemand Update (PubMed)
   
   
   
   
   
2. To sync Research Logix publication data with PubMed data, click the button, PubMed Data OnDemand. 
   
   
   
   
3. Depending on the number of publications in your account, this could take some time to process. Please be patient. After completing the update, you will receive a notification of the number of publications updated.
